Ruin the original image when replacing with a background by using Generative AI

I was trying to replace my original portrait's background with another one by Generative AI, I removed the original backgroun first and generated a new background, however, my portrait became totally blurry and ruined.

Can you share a screenshot of your before and after? Were you using Generative Fill? What were your settings on the brush?
