Aspect ratio of program monitor and general settings don't match

The aspect ration I selected at the startuo was 2:3 but the properties/general settings show the aspect ration to be widescreen(16:9)

Can you please show us what you selected? 2:3 is not an option for the Firefly video model:

It is an option for Pika. Did you originally have Pika selected?

Thanks for this feedback! Are you requesting for the aspect ratio in the generation settings to match your default aspect ratio from the general properties panel?

Please note: The timeline is still set to the aspect ratio that is show in your general properties panel, while the generation settings simply shows the aspect ratio of the video that will be generated. We will be working for the generation settings to match the aspect ratio of your timeline in the future.
