Hi.

When using a copyrighted image owned by someone else as a reference for style or composition in Adobe Firefly, and generating a new image based on a text prompt, who holds the copyright for the generated image?

Thanks.

Hello @di_1543,

Unfortunately, there is not a clear answer to this question. Laws and regulations are still developing and there is not much case law. If you have to make a commercial decision based on this question, it would be best to consult with legal counsel.

My best,
