Hi I am trying to go back to locate an early text to image design I created last week. I can only go back a certain ways and not all the way back to re-download an image I lost. Is there a trick I dont know about? Is there a search for older images?
Thank you for the help,
Lynn
Hello @lynn_4910,
Unless you take specific action to save an image, they are not saved. You have various options including downloading the image to you local computer or to your creative cloud library, favouriting the image which stores the image along with the prompts and styles used to generate it in your browser cache, or by getting a URL link which takes you back to the generation page with the prompts and styles. If you do not take one of these actions, I am afraid the image is lost.

You can see the prompts/generations in your current session by pressing this button:
But this is only the current session and is not permanent storage.
It has been a frequent suggestion that prompts and images be automatically saved. I recommend you look at these posts and upvote the one(s) you would like to see:

Super helpful thank you! I'm also glad I am not the only one who generated many images only to realize I also needed a past one to use as reference but lost it. Sadly, I had downloaded this particular image but accidently deleted it and emptied the trash later in the week. Even Time Machine cant locate any versions of this image.

Hey @lynn_4910
Just to add a bit extra to this discussion.
@droopydog500 's methods work for sure. What I like to do is create a Google Doc or Word Doc and save the link w a screenshot of the image.
1) you have a shareable link.
2) you have a link from an earlier version. This can sometimes be helpful. Adobe FF is currently V3.
3) you have your own personized library that you can organize as you see fit.
Cheers
