Firefly is eating my credits without even bothering to generate video

It's not generating ANY video but it is certainly taking credits out of my account. It's taken 700 credits out today without generating a single thing. Where is my money going, exactly?

There was nothing special to see from this error, it looked just like it
looks when it's trying to generate something -- except it never got there
even if I let it sit for a long time. But it still deducted credits for
generations it didn't accomplish.
