If Firefly gives me 4 images, how can I choose 1, and ask for edits and extra variations?

Hi OldDogNewTricks101!

Thanks for writing in. You can first Upscale the image shown below.

Choose the Generate fill or Generate similar that is marked in the picture.

Please refer here for more details on Generative fill.

Thanks KR,
On the 'Generate similar' can you give specific instructions, e.g. 'Change his shoes to sneakers, shorten his beard and have more moody lighting, then give 4 options'?

Hello @OldDogNewTricks101,

On the 'Generate similar' can you give specific instructions, e.g. 'Change his shoes to sneakers, shorten his beard and have more moody lighting, then give 4 options'?

You cannot do that with Generate Similar. The closest you can come to what you want to do is take the image to Generative Fill and then select the area of the image you want to change and write a prompt for what you want placed there (or removed there).

My best,

Hey @OldDogNewTricks101

I would like to recommend using slow mode. This way you save credits.

When you find an image you like, download and then use as a Composition Image or Ref Image. This way you can ask for different variations while staying with the same concept. Remember to slide the sliders around.

Keep in mind that you may not get the exact same image.

Save a link and put the link on a document: Google, Word, Pages or something of your choice. Saving the link helps to go back to a previous generation. Save the link in the begining. Then consider starting a new seed.

Cheers

O Nate
