I have tried everything I can see to generate an image of a fish, nose to tail. Regardless of the prompts the final result is just a section of the fish.

Hello @Brad37729124tj0g,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having a problem.

You can try using the "wide angle" camera angle or using prompts like "zoomed-out" or "distant view". But, you might get the best results by sketching the outline of the fish and using that as a structure reference.

Good luck,

Thank you for your ideas, but none of the suggestions have worked 😞

I will keep trying though.

Cheers

Hi @sincere_everglow08404,

The aspect ratio of your structure reference has to be EXACTLY the same as the generated image. They are not the same and that is why the ends are being cut off. Change the aspect ration of the structure reference to 16:9.

The structure and style reference are now the exact same size, they can't be set at 16:9 they are more like 16:6.8 or is that the issue, they must be 16:9?

Is this why the image in the style reference only shows part of the fish?

@sincere_everglow08404 , yes, if they are not the same the result is the object is cut off. The structure image is effectively overlayed onto the generated image and if they do not fit exactly, anything outside of the image "canvas" is cut off.

OK, so this is a new generated image

The "structure" reference is exactly the same as the "style" reference, as I used the structure outline to crop the original art, but still the style referenece image is not showing at full size like the structure reference?

Your structure reference is causing the problem. Your structure is the drawing in the slender rectangle which is incorrect.

The red shaded areas need to be filled with white also, the way you have it, Firefly will scale it to align with the bottom, thus cutting off the ends. A skinny rectangle will not work.

Thanks David, I will try that.

Just checking; so the structure reference needs to be set at 1:1 ratio with the remaining areas filled.

Does this also stand  with the style reference image?

No, it does not have to be set to 1:1. The structure reference has to have exactly the same aspect ratio as the image you are generating. If they do not match you can take the reference image into generative fill and use generative expand to change it to the aspect ratio you are using in your generation.
