Generative Credits - What do you get for one credit?

Can anyone explian exactly what you get for a generative credit? For example, if I create one text to image photo, how many generative credits does that take? Is it one? Is it a hundred? How do you know what you are getting when you sign up to a plan with a certain number of credits?

Yes, You need 1 credit when you click the  generate button each time.

Thanks for replying. So, if I understand this, I can do several prompts to hone in on the picture I want, but I do not use a credit until I hit the generative button which will create a photo that I can download. So, essentially, one credit equals one downloadable picture. Is this correct?

No. Credits are consumed when you click the button whether you download the image or not.
