First off, I live in Korea (not up north), and while today is my first time using Firefly, I'm not new to AI illustration programs.

Cult_Prologue_8_Illust.png

I'm trying to make new Firefly Image based on this image that i made from Midjourney about few month ago.

This is the prompts to make that image in Midjorney, and the important part is 'medieval man'.

I tried to make new illust like that image, just a medieval man walking over a dirt road.

After few fail of poor stuffs, I realized something is basically wrong.

Does that looks like 'Medieval' outfit?

Does that white, blue colors are with in 'Medieval' theme?

So I experimented with creating a "medieval" themed image.

REALLY?

Where the hell is medieval theme images?

Do you think this really fits the keyword "Medieval"?

As an Easterner, I don't think it really fits the keyword "Medieval".

All same results output even I entered US version of Firefly website.

I am deeply saddened by this.

Is there any way out of this disappointing outcome?

Or is anyone else (in the western world) typing this prompt and getting the same result as me?

I think so.

I'd like to change the account country and try again, but it won't be until the next day.

Thank you for your help.

Adobe does try to orient images created in firefly based on where it thinks you are (region, culture, etc.). This has been discussed in these posts:

You can change your prompts to be more descriptive of the people, cultures, regions and objects to override that region/culture behaviour.

Nothing nationalist about this.

Just that in advertising usually you are looking for imagery that your potential customers can relate to. And this is not the case when you can see from far away that the image does not show the place where your company is based. There are many clues for this: the faces (even if you disregard skin color), the fashion, the scenery, the cars/trains/trams. All of that points to the region. Flags are not a cloue. Putting a flag into the image makes you look pretty helpless (at least where I come from).

OK, this explanation sounds reasonable.

From my experience Firefly 2 is fairly new.  There are alot of things it doesn't quite understand.  However, the accuracy and quality improves as it learns.  Using the rating system and adjusting your prompt can lead to stunning results.  It may take several tries.  Hopefully classrooms are helping Firefly Ai learn faster.
