Is there a prompt for restricting the use of Public Domain images that are in Adobe Stock? My company has licensing concerns with Firefly using public domain images that are present in Adobe Stock.

Generative Ai doesn't just open an image and puts it into your image.

Instead when learning it recognizes patterns and then produces things it has learnt from those patterns. You cannot exclude anything from that database.

You mean that no public domain images are used in the generation of images? That is not how AI image generation works. The generated images are based on everything the AI has "seen" when "learning".

Thanks for your reply. What i mean is, when for example if I extend an image using Gen AI, can i prompt the AI to only use commercial use only images to create the extension and prevent it from using editorial use images because of some restricted usage rights?

Hi @nuno_faisca ,

AFAIK, You are not at risk of copyright infringement as the Ai image created uses the Stock library as launch point to generate new content based on your prompt.

You can filter to anything in the Filter menu. I usually filter to "Exclude Generative AI" and to "Standard Content". Is this what you are asking?

Unfortunately you have to filter again with each use.
