P: Plan error in generating video (plans needed for video generation)

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
Users on Creative Cloud plans can use their credits on any standard Firefly feature (e.g., Generative Fill, Generate Image). However, users need to be on Firefly premium plan (Firefly Plus or Firefly Premium) to access premium features like Generative Video and Translate Video and Audio. Adobe is providing all users the ability to try out the premium features. Complimentary generations vary by premium feature (

Hello,
I have a Creative Cloud All Apps Account, which includes Firefly. However, I cannot create videos using Firefly. When I signed up I knew that Video was coming soon. I need to have access to the video model. Please fix this. Thank you.

On the Firefly home page, do you see the text to video and image to video on the video tab?
If you do not see this, try going to the Firefly home page and holding the SHIFT key down while reloading.

Yes, I see them. I was able to create two videos before I got the following
message: "Your complimentary generations have ended. Buy a Firefly plan for
continued access." Then I get the "Keep creating with Firefly"
window opening advising me to pay for Firefly.
With my account, I get 1,000 credits for Firefly a month. I'm sure this is
just some launch glitch, but I would like it to be addressed ASAP as I like
what I saw from my first two generations.

So they increase the price of creative cloud, only to not include FireFly Video in Creative cloud? I was on a student plan and paid 15€ a month for creative cloud. They doubled it to over 30€ and now they want an extra min. 10€ for Firefly Video generation? A tool that should be in the creative cloud abo hence the price increases. Basically a scam at this point because they take more money and still lock features behind another paywall.
Shouldn't Creative Cloud Abo mean acess to every application and every feature of those apps?

Ah, ok. If you are on an individual plan, video generation is not included unless you also buy an additional Firefly plan. They are giving some free generations without a Firefly plan. This table shows the differences between plans:

That's awful news. That was one of the main reasons I signed up for the
year. Because I knew this model would be coming out. I can't imagine that
decision will go over well with all the other Creative Cloud members who
have access to everything else. I hope you guys will reconsider and allow
the 1,000 monthly Firefly credits to be used with the video model as well
as the other Firefly tools.

Yeah, honestly the least Adobe could do after their last AI debacle is allow our credits to be used as, you know, CREDITS using the platform that created said credits.

The trial system itself feels fundamentally flawed. If the product delivered high-quality results, I might understand limiting usage. But when the output is unusable, it’s frustrating to have credits taken away for something that doesn’t even meet basic expectations. My first generated video was so shockingly bad that I rejected it immediately, yet it still cost me credits.
This entire experience has been a major letdown. After waiting so long for Firefly, I expected something more refined, not a restrictive, paywalled system that seems more focused on monetisation than actual usability. As a long-time Adobe customer, I expected much better.

Based on this reply, Adobe is informing Creative Clound "All App" subscribers that we are paying a monthly fee for ALL apps, but not EVERY app.
After testing FireFly and seeing the terrible results, there is no way I will pay to be a beta tester of an app that yields such poor results.

I have the same problem. I have a paid full access subscription to all apps in the Creative Cloud + 1000 credits for Firefly, but I can’t use them because a window pops up asking me to purchase an Adobe Firefly subscription, even though it is already included in my Creative Cloud subscription.

This is bad UX from Adobe -- our Creative Cloud firefly credits apparently don't apply to generative video features even though it doesn't say that generative video isn't included in those credite. It's misleading and crappy.

In Firefly text to video beta, I am trying to create video tests, but I get a popup to buy a subscription and then an error saying that I have run out of complimentary credits. Yet my account dropdown says that I have 1500 credits. FYI - the two tests that I have run so far are unusable, so I am not going to purchase a subscription in addition to the subscription that I already have.

Adobe apologists keep repeating themselves not quite grasping that limiting top-tier paying users to only 2 complimentary beta video generations then sending them on a wild goose chase trying to understand your new convoluted "credit" system is not a great way to introduce a new feature. Honestly, what was your team thinking?
