Hello @JuanoPY,
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
Users on Creative Cloud plans can use their credits on any standard Firefly feature (e.g., Generative Fill, Generate Image). However, users need to be on Firefly premium plan (Firefly Plus or Firefly Premium) to access premium features like Generative Video and Translate Video and Audio. Adobe is providing all users the ability to try out the premium features. Complimentary generations vary by premium feature (

I'm completely confused about my membership situation. My account indicates that Firefly is included in my membership, and I have been using it for months, plus I still have many credits left. Has something changed? Do I no longer have access to Firefly as part of my membership, and do I now need a separate subscription? I don’t use many apps; I’m satisfied with Adobe Express and Firefly. Since I can't access the Firefly video feature without purchasing a separate membership, I decided to sign up for the monthly Firefly membership to test it out. However, I'm not planning to maintain two memberships. Should I change my plans?

Thanks, I think I got it...based on your post, I see that "video generation will require one of the paid Firefly plans," which I have just purchased. However, I would prefer not to have multiple memberships. Is there a plan that includes both Adobe Express and Firefly video? I looked through all the Adobe plans but couldn’t find one. Did I miss it, or does such a plan not exist?

Hi @VonHolm,
Do you mean premium Adobe Express and Firefly video? If so, based on my read of the documents, there is no single plan that covers both today.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Even though my premium membership grants access to most of the apps, I primarily use Express and Firefly. However, as you also notice, there is no Firefly and Express Premium subscription. So, I purchased a monthly Firefly subscription today to test it, but I won't keep it unless Adobe rolls out a better subscription package or includes it in the premium membership. Like many others here, I find it utterly absurd that Adobe users must pay an additional fee for beta versions of their software. Typically, beta programs are works in progress, often lacking in stability and functionality, which can delay their full development for months. Therefore, they need to be tested, and who better to test it than the community? This is why access to these beta versions should be included at no extra cost within existing paid subscriptions. As far as I know, you don't work for Adobe, so who could actually address this issue?

Hi @VonHolm,
I know Adobe folks are reading the comments in this forum and will consider the feedback they have received during this rollout.

I expect that you have noticed how the current support system, which relies on you and others sharing links to information that often misses the mark for our specific concerns, is frustrating. As someone who covers my CC subscription entirely out of pocket, the financial commitment is significant, especially since it's a personal expense that cannot be deducted from my taxes. I was fortunate enough to make a living using these tools before, but after being diagnosed with cancer, I had to step back due to fatigue. Even so, I chose to keep my CC subscription to nurture my creative spirit and remain productive. Sharing this dramatic point emphasizes that I'm not generating any income from Adobe's tools, and I'm sure I'm not alone. We are not all part of an agency. The addition of costs for beta programs, which need to be tested and learned, feels particularly unfair, especially considering how expensive these subscriptions already are. I do hope Adobe is listening and that improvements can be made.

The credits I get with my creative cloud subscription are not working for firefly video.

This still doesn't make any sense, why should I have to buy one type of credit for certain parts of Firefly and another type of credit for video? The credits I get with my subsription should count for any type of content I want to create or break Firefly off completely into its own subscription I can add on to my creative cloud subscription for a reasonable price.

Can someone explain this? I cannot find anything on limits of generations at all. I "Wasted" what I apperently had on videos that were 90% usless/not what I prompted. Am I charged per generation or what I actually download? What is the "Limit"? When will our purchsed credits be allowed to be used?
I would like to report back to the team with answers please ad thank you.

Wow, I get 2 not very good test videos and then you already demand payment? Brilliant strategy, Adobe...🙄
Just checked and it's showing I have 1000/1000 credits. Why on earth is it not applying my credits to generated video????

Hello Adobe CS Representative,
I am told I have run out of complimentary credits when I have a paid subscription. I guess I don't understand, is the message saying I have used 991 / 1000 credits, which would be impossible as I use a local version of Flux to generate images and I just started using the video generator today. If it is that I have used 9 credits so far, then that would make sense, but why am I being prevented from creating any additional videos? Thank you for your help.

The problem, Droopy, is that Adobe has once again really botched the rollout of this and further angered their customers by declaring a new feature then cutting off access before you can actually make a decent video. You would think that Adobe, with its massive returns for investors, would provide these tools for ample testing in the beta stage. I generated two remarkably bad videos based on an image and was then cut off. This is a terrible terrible strategy to apply to your users whose work you already trained your AI on before you suddenly had to backtrack due to the bad press, declaring how you don't use our images for training. Yes, now you don't, because you got caught. Great job. Keep on alienating us.

I'm trying out the new image to video feature that I just got access to.
I have 1000 credits for Firefly, but why can't I use my credits?
A warning screen appears asking me to request a loan from my manager.
