P: Plan error in generating video (plans needed for video generation)

actualmente cuento con un plan Creative Cloud, en el cual está incluido Firefly. Sin embargo al usar Firefly en la web me indica que debo adquirir un plan. Solo pude generar 2 videos

Users on Creative Cloud plans can use their credits on any standard Firefly feature (e.g., Generative Fill, Generate Image). However, users need to be on Firefly premium plan (Firefly Plus or Firefly Premium) to access premium features like Generative Video and Translate Video and Audio. Adobe is providing all users the ability to try out the premium features. Complimentary generations vary by premium feature (

Help me understand, Adobe: You finally invite me to beta test Firefly video. Two horribly executed prompts later and now every time I enter a prompt I get a pop-up to pay $10 or $30 to generate videos with the BETA version of Firefly. Explain to me your strategy behind giving your paying customers a couple of free prompts and then asking them to pay for more when you haven't even developed a product that is seemingly capable of consistently producing usable content. Oh, and by the way, maybe you should mention the two video generation limit in your sign-up and acceptance emails.

That doesn't explain anything. If the product is still pre-release, that price matrix shouldn't be in effect. Given the low quality of the output, asking paying CC users to shell out that much extra per month is a non-starter, even if they take the Beta label off. It also doesn't remotely address the question I asked in the post- How does Adobe think this strategy makes sense?

For the record, I'm on a Creative Cloud All Apps plan which, from my reading of the chart, should provide enough credits for 50 seconds of video generation. I received 10 seconds. Not that I would have been able to get a good trial of Firefly Video with the full 50 seconds given the attrocious output on my first two prompts.

Seriously? I was able to make two 5 second clips before being asked to buy it?

 

I can't even see my generation history to review the videos.

I think it would be wise, however, of Adobe to give more than 2 generations if they want anyone to subscribe.

 

I can't even go back and look at them anymore. Won't be subscribing.

I am already a Creative Cloud member. So after 2 text to video creations there are popups about this is all I get and now I need another Adobe subscription to Firefly to continue. What??!?!??!

 

Seriously! ADOBE! If you want people to try and see if they even want to buy... 2 creations? WOW.

There are plenty of other BETTER free models of text to video. As a paying Creative Cloud member this really, really feels off putting.

Just stunned.

Hi,

I have 1000/1000 generation credits from my adobe subscription to use firefly but after 2 uses of testing it's now saying I have used up my usage? Not sure why this is happening as my credits havent gone down at all

I'm pretty sure by now you're getting that people don't get this. It's horrible usability and confusing that we are paying subscribers INCLUDING Firefly, but wait... gotchya you gotta pay for this text to video part of it. There is a reason people keep asking this over and over and over.

Olá,

Hoje, 12/02/25, recebi email do convite para acessar o Firefly  Video.

 

Consegui gerar 2 videos, e apesar de ainda ter mais de 800 créditos disponíveis, não consegui gerar mais nenhum vídeo, sendo sempre direcionado a uma tela para comprar assinatura.

You can keep referring people to the ridiculously convoluted terms of "credits" and the response will be the same. This is not how you introduce a new beta feature. This is not how you response to people having legitimate complaints about an extremely limited beta preview that then demands more money from your top-tier paying users to beta test. Frankly, Adobe should have known better after already alienating your user base back in June.

Hello!

 

My account shows I have 2000 unused generative credits but when I am attempting to create text to video and select 'generate' a pop up to purchase 'firefly' comes up and does not allow me to use any of my credits available? Please advise? Thank you!
