P: Firefly Video access issues with organisations on Enterprise or Teams plans

I'm trying to use firefly video generator, but it's not allowing me. Saying the following (see screenshot)
(translated from Dutch):
''You have no access to this funtion
You can contact your provider to ask for permission.''
Is this a bug, or is the feature legitimately locked for me for some reason?
Thanks in advance for the help.

UPDATE (as of Feb 13)
I have asked Adobe for some clarification on this and they have told me the following:
Text to video and image to video are not available for EDU enterprise plans at this time. Apologies to those of you on EDU plans who received email saying you could now access the Firefly video beta.
For all other enterprise plans, if the enterprise has purchased a plan that includes audio and video generation the enterprise administrator will see that module as being available. If

Hi @latikeshs,
You would need to talk to your organisation's Adobe administrator to have access provisioned, if that feature is available on the plan your enterprise has. If you are not sure who the enterprise admin is, please start with the IT department.

Hi!
I signed up for the new beta features earlier this year and yesterday I got an invitation to try it. Unfortunately I get this error message when I shall try the video generator...
You don't have access to this feature
You can contact your admin to request access.
How come? I have a licenser for the complete Creative Suite.
Sincerely,
/Lennart Svensson

Hi!
I can see several contradictive answers here. Does all usage of Firefly now require an additional license or is it only the video feature that does so? Is Firefly included in any version of the Creative Suite? If so, which one(s)?
Adobe is really not handling this professionally. Paying customers should be able to expect more.

Hello @lennart_9632,
The premium features do, which includes video generation and translation.
Text to image and generative fill, standard features, do not require the additional subscription.

I don't get it!
If I look at the cost chart for students and teachers there are three options...
- Firefly Standard
- Firefly Pro
- Creative Cloud all programs
What's included in option 3? It pretty much says that everything is covered, but obviously it is not.

Hello @lennart_9632,
Yeah, it is confusing. "Creative Cloud All Apps" does not include the Firefly premium features, which are video generation and audio/video translation. Those are only available in the Firefly standard and pro plans.

Wow!
So besides the cost for Creative Suite you can choose to pay an additioal +30 USD each month and still only get a beta version of the new features, which are also limited to generation of 5 sec. videos?!?

I have a full private (non-corporate) subscription, so no administrator. I can use Firefly pics without a problem but am told I need to purchase a subscription for video generation. This can't be right. I tried to report a bug, it wouldn't allow me. I got through to tech services on chat and was cut off. Pretty poor service.

Firefly Video AI is described as a beta test, but I was only given 2 complimentary generation credits, even though I am a paid adobe creative suite customer. I have 1000/1000 AI generation credits, but they did not apply to Firefly. A beta test should be free, as you are having people work for you to test and submit bug reports. I have worked professionally as a paid product tester. Asking for subscription money from your paying customers after only 2 complimentary credits is not a friendly way to do business. You are taking advantage of customers, offering a beta-level product that requires additional testing, and charging them money to work for you.
Please consider offering low-resolution previews, so the customer can determine if the AI generation they have prompted is even usable. It could cost a user hundreds of dollars worth of credits just to end up with no results that match their vision. A test-generation should not consume an AI generation credit until the user chooses to export a high resolution final render of that generation.

Hi @bodhim34950517 ,
Adobe has recently changed the Firefly availability and plans. Credits that you get for images under the CC plan do not apply to Firefly video. See links below:
https://www.adobe.com/products/firefly/plans.html
https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/get-set-up/learn-the-basics/generative-credits-overview.html
On your other points, I agree with your suggestion of giving low res versions of videos with more than just 2 attempts would be better to give people the opportunity to try it in a more substantial way. Having just 2 attempts may not even give you great results as AI often needs iteration of prompts to improve the output.

We are experiencing issues with Adobe Firefly despite having an enterprise license. We can't generate video.

Hello @Vignesh333376374mrq,
Not all enterprise plans have access to video features. You local Adobe administrator would need to check your plan to see if it is included, and contact Adobe sales if it is not included.

Can I ask about the EDU enterprise plan exception? Is there a reason these accounts are blocked from creating videos (not even allowed the 2 test credits)? What if it's decided some users within that plan do need access to video generation - is that going to be possible for the university to achieve?
Also, has the "ask your administrator" message to those with Edu Enterprise plans been updated to indicate they should not contact their administrator (or moreover, that they do not have access to this feature via their account?)

I also faced some issues, so I switched to another platform. Currently, I use Vadoo AI as my go-to tool for video generation. It offers many features that make it a great alternative to Firefly. You can access all the top AI models, like Runway and Kling, on a single platform. It’s definitely worth exploring!

Hello @Cross Assembly Creative,
It appears you are on an enterprise plan. Not all enterprise plans have video capability or have it enabled by default. Your best bet is to talk with your organisation's Adobe administrator. If you are not sure who that is, please start with your IT department.
