Right now there is no Audio Channel layout available.
When i get a video file with just one mono Audio i need to duplicate it to get a stereo audio.

Hi @Andreas Itzlinger

Thanks so much for calling this out and explaining your workflow so clearly. It absolutely makes sense that if you bring in a clip with mono audio, you’d want a simple way to duplicate it to both left and right channels so it plays as stereo.

Right now, Firefly’s video editor doesn’t have an audio channel layout or mono‑to‑stereo toggle built in, which is why you’re running into this limitation. The team is actively collecting requests like yours to help shape what comes next for audio in Firefly, and your feedback is exactly the kind of real‑world use case that’s most helpful.

In the meantime, many creators are converting their mono audio to stereo in apps like Premiere Pro first, then importing that stereo file into Firefly as a workaround. It’s not as smooth as having the control directly in Firefly, but it can help avoid audio playing only on one side.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this, it helps make Firefly better for everyone. If you have other audio features that would make your edits easier, please continue to share them.

^Sam
