credit issues

I really love what you are doing, but the credits are a huge issue. Many of the creations AI has made are completely unusable. Yet every bad creation we pay for. When it comes to video, I've thrown everything out but one. It was great the first couple of days after Max, but the moment it got saturated with bad inputs from the millions of users who flooded it, it became pretty unreliable. Allowing customers the ability to redo a creation without costing them valuable credits would be a great service to your customers. We already pay a lot to be here. Taking on extras just seems greedy.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this in such detail. It means a lot that you “really love what we’re doing,” and it’s very clear how frustrating it is to spend credits on results you can’t actually use, especially with video.

You’re absolutely right that when generations miss the mark, it doesn’t feel good to watch your credits disappear on top of that. The change you’ve noticed since MAX, and your point about things feeling less reliable as more people started using it, is really valuable feedback for the team.

The idea of being able to redo a creation without burning through more credits is a very fair ask, and it’s exactly the kind of suggestion that helps us improve how Firefly works for real creators, not just in theory. This is being passed along internally as a feature request so the product team can review how retries and unusable outputs are handled.
