Dear Adobe Team,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment to innovation and for the recent advancements in integrating artificial intelligence into your tools, especially with the introduction of Adobe Firefly. The generative fill feature in Photoshop is a groundbreaking addition that makes the creative workflow faster, smoother, and more efficient.
However, I would like to express my disagreement with the introduction of the credit-based system for using generative AI. I understand the need to manage computational resources, but I believe such a central feature in the creative process should remain more openly accessible, especially for those who use Photoshop daily in professional contexts.
In this regard, I would like to propose the implementation of a dual-model system within Photoshop:
a “light” model, either locally integrated or cloud-based, with faster and lighter performance, ideal for quick or less complex edits,
and a “pro” model, powered by Firefly, offering higher-quality results and potentially linked to the credit system.
This solution would allow users to choose the appropriate processing level based on their needs, optimizing both costs and efficiency without sacrificing the power of AI.
Thank you for your attention and for continuing to develop tools that empower creativity.
I’d be happy to further elaborate on my suggestion or provide additional feedback if needed.
Best regards,
Daniele Pelligra
