I was thinking it would be useful to be able to convert the AI jpg into a layered psd file to further edit and alter AI images. This would be of value to also take these files and animate them in AE. The AI generated images are a great start but very limited with a flattened image.

Are you thinking that different elements in the image may be different layers? I can see it can be complex to know which elements to put on different layers. Plus would add to processing time. But AI is evolving fast...

Yes, mutiple layers for objects. I'm an animator and like to have everything on it's own layer. Of course, I'm not asking for AI to generate every concept with layers just the final selected image. Perhaps a Layerize option in the pulldown menu.

You could always bring the image into Photoshop, pull out various elements as their own layers and use Generative Fill to complete the object you've pulled out. I understand what you're asking for in Firefly.
