I am using Adobe Pro to create a PDF with a text box using an adobe font. When I select my adobe font from the list it tells me that this font will not be embedded because of the license. When I look at the font in adobe fonts however it says embedding is allowed. Can anyone help?

Fonts can have their own embedding restrictions set by their creators. By default, "Adobe software respects the intent of the fonts' creators and will not embed any fonts into PDF files where the embedding privileges restrict against such embedding" (source). While you can embed fonts in web sites, you may not be able to embed them into PDFs or other type of documents.

What font are you using?
