Do Adobe Web Fonts support preloading?

This works fine for me:

 <link res="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/id" >

But this results in no webfont load and the fallback fonts being used:

<link rel="preload" href="https://use.typekit.net/id" as="style" />

Is this supported?

There is a fairly recent thread about this, but no solution yet.

Trying to implement rel="preload" for Typekit but ... - Adobe Support Community - 10876067

This might be helpful. I've yet to try the 'solution' so I'm not sure if it works.

Hi All,

We are sorry for the delay in response. We don’t have a preload option but we do have options for controlling how fonts load on a page. Please see this page for more info: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-display-settings.html

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Harshika

Does Adobe Fonts in 2022 still have no preload option? This is not really state of the art, isn't it? For me as a paying customer this really is very unpleasant and keeps me from using Typekit Fonts. Will switch to another service.
