Hello, we are producing for our client a offline html website in a kiosk mode for a exhibition. As we cant use the standard web publishing. Do we have to get a special licence and if yes which one ?

Thanks a lot

If the font files have to be embedded into the kiosk's HTML application the Adobe Fonts service is probably not going to work. The fonts are essentially cloud-based with the files hidden from a computer's file management system.

A stand-alone kiosk that isn't connected to the Internet will need font files that are resident in the kiosk's computing hardware storage. That would require buying a traditional license and download of font files. One exception would be free/open source fonts. Some of the fonts hosted at Adobe Fonts are from Google. Those can downloaded for free and used commercially.
