Fonts are deactivating instead of activating

I'm trying to install the Adobe Caslon family of fonts for a class and while fonts.adobe.com tells me it's activating, a popup from Creative Cloud Desktop says the font is DEactivating, even though it has never previously been present on my computer. I did the usual troubleshooting and the problem is persisting. Any ideas?

I have this same problem and they never gave me a solution to it.  Have fun trying to get help.  It's frustrating.

The short answer is no.  They don't care about solving this issue nor responding.
