Fonts for Commercial use in games

New Here ,
Mar 23, 2025 Mar 23, 2025

Hey!
I currently work on a game and found a really good Font. However, I don´t know if I can use it or not. I want to use the fonts for the UI. They should only appear as buttons (I would use them as Vectorgraphics made in Illustrator) .

I already read the FAQ, but I didnt quite understand how those rules are with desktop games

Thanks for the helpful info on using fonts in games commercially. I'm currently working on a fan-based project related to Brawl Stars and needed clarification on font licensing for UI elements.

Hey! I'm working on a game and found a great font I'd like to use for the UI—specifically for button labels, which I'd convert into vector graphics via Illustrator. I read the FAQ but I'm still unclear about the licensing terms for desktop games . Does using the font this way (as static vector art, not embedded text) require a special license, or is it covered under standard desktop use? Would really appreciate some clarification!

Hi

@glamorous_Diamond7102

,

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, if you use the font to create static vector graphics (like button labels converted in Illustrator), that usage is covered under the standard desktop license. No special license is required in this case.

For more details, you can refer to the FAQ linked above, which outlines what's included in the standard licensing terms. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Regards,

Tarun

Most of those fonts are available in permainan apk SERUAPK by default but are paid, however games make more use of free fonts
