Fonts loaded but not visible

anyone have issues with Adobe CC fonts being "active" but not being visible or usable when in AI? My fonts have worked in the past but at some 'upgrade' my selected fonts are no longer active. They are active in the Adobe Fonts webpage and I've tried deactivating and reactivating but still no luck.

 

Thanks for any insight to getting these workign again would be great.

Yes! I activate fonts. They show activated. Then they deactivate right off, even though they still show activated.
