Issues with Gyst Variable Font Weight and Italic Styles in Web Project

Hi,

I’m trying to use the Gyst variable font in my web project, and I’m encountering two issues.

1 - The displayed font weight is incorrect. I want the same thinness in the final result as in my mockup. I know it's a common issue with web font. But is there a way to avoid it?

2 - It doesn’t seem possible to use the italic style shown in your preview. When I add the font to my web project, it offers me the option to add Gyst Variable Light Italic, but the CSS for it is the same as for Gyst Variable Light. Also, using font-style: italic produces a terrible result, abviously.

Is there a way to make this work, or am I better off looking for a more suitable font?
Thanks! 🙂
