The 'add font family' button seems to be missing from Adobe Fonts whenever I browse a different typeface.
I've made sure I'm logged in, but can only seem to add it to a library.
I recently paused syncing libraries through my CC desktop app because the libraries folder was taking up a tonne of room on my hard drive, could that be related?
I didn't think disabling libraries would affect my ability to install Adobe fonts?

Thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing. You may want to try turning off the font option in Creative Cloud, waiting a moment, and then turning it back on. Check this article and see step 5 for more steps on it- https://adobe.ly/3So2tFh
If that doesn't help, try restarting the device and see if that makes any difference.
