OpenType fonts with PostScript outline information will be displayed with Type 1 information when checked through Acrobat properties.
This should be considered as a specification.

It may be alarming, but it's completely normal. Type 1 fonts are not going away from PDF. (There are billions of existing PDF files with type 1 fonts, and they will stay readable). All kinds of fonts are often converted to type 1 as part of making a PDF.

Does mean such fonts will no longer be editable in Acrobat.
