Problems with the correct installation of new fonts

Hello, I´m looking for some help here. I have been trying to install the Frutiger font for half a week. Unfortunately, my attempts are not particularly crowned with success. Fonts does let me upload the font and it does show up in Illustrator 2021, but the font doesn't look the way it should. In Photoshop 2021, it doesn't even show up for me.

I got the file from my colleague since we share the same account. The font works for her. I uploaded the font as a TTF file in Fonts.

Does anyone know the solution to my problem?

Hello – When you say you uploaded the file in Fonts are you referring to the Font Book app for Mac OS, or are you using a feature from Creative Cloud?

It's difficult for us to diagnose issues with font files that we did not distribute. Fruitger is not offered by Adobe, so I'm not sure what you mean by sharing an account with your colleague. If the issue is not with a Creative Cloud app feature, the best recommendation I have would be to ensure you're properly licensed to use Frutiger and then contact the foundry where the font was purchased for support.
