Proof of designer license?

I've hired a designer to create a book cover for me. As I understand it, if the designer of the font he uses on my book comes to me and demands I prove I have a license for the font, I need to be able to produce it. Where would my designer find that proof, and how could he provide me with a copy to show?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in response. Using our fonts for a book is covered by the Adobe Fonts license. In the case that you need to provide proof of license, evidence of your Creative Cloud subscription at the time the design was created would suffice.
you can link the licensing faq: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-licensing.html or even: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-licensing.ug.html#act-pdf

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Harshika
