Hi

Our compnay has thousands of forms created with a Type 1 Helvetica font family.

Would anyone know a good Helvecitca Type 1 replacement to help make the transistion seamless as possible?

Also, would anyone know if the Type 1 end of support will affect PDF fillable forms? Will you still be able to edit PDFs in Acrobat to make them fillable?

Thank you

Hi Rocketstro,

Sorry for the delay in response. I found these alternatives on the web, please take a look if it helps: https://learnui.design/blog/helvetica-similar-fonts.html

Please see this article for details on the Type1 font, which might help.

Feel free to reach out for further assistance.

Thanks,

Harshika.

Helvetica, used in forms, will continue to work indefinitely. It's a special font built into the design of PDF.

Type 1 fonts, used in PDF, will continue to work indefinitely; it's a core part of the PDF design.

It may no longer be possible to make a PDF using type 1 fonts soon, though.
