Hello,
in germany there is a court decision, that webfonts need to be loaclly storaged.
Because of this i need to change some website applications and locally store the fonts on my website.
How i can do that?
I tried to download the files, which are in the css url/src parameter, but it seems not to work.
Hope you can help me,
thank you very much in advance 🙂

Adobe do not supply font files for the fonts in Adobe Fonts service. Not for any purpose. This is not surprising - it would cost over $50,000 to license them. You will need to license your own copies of the fonts you want to use locally. Which surely any serious web site would do rather than rely on a subscription?

Typekit is the old name. The service name is now Adobe Fonts, including both web fonts and local fonts.

Hi @Firehold, as explained by @Test Screen Name, you can't download and store Adobe fonts. Here is some more background on your question for others. In the Munich court case you referred to, a website operator was fined for transferring a user's personal data (their IP address) to Google via the fonts used on the website without the individual's consent. According to Adobe Font's privacy policy, information collected by the Adobe Font service includes “IP address - while the Fonts service receives IP address so that it knows where to deliver the font, it does not store it.”

The court decision is very controversial. In Germany, there are special "Abmahner" who make money with such decisions. As long as Adobe does not provide a European server for the fonts, I would do without such fonts. Either buy the fonts you need or use Google Fonts, but host them yourself.
