I have a couple of fonts I use a lot. I also want to use them on my phone so I have installed iFont... however, these fonts don't show up in Adobe programs. I seem to end up in a circle of nothingness when I try to add them to Adobe... these fonts are, by the way, fonts I use on my desktop all the time.
I do not need validation on my feelings, just answers, please 🙂

There could be a couple of reasons why the fonts aren't appearing in the font menus of Adobe applications.
Not too long ago Adobe discontinued support of Postscript Type 1 fonts in its applications. If the fonts you're using are Postscript fonts they would need to be converted to another format, either TrueType or OpenType, in order to work.
Some fonts, particularly certain ones uploaded to free fonts web sites, can have technical problems that cause them to not load properly or fail to load into the font menu at all. I've even seen technical issues with font files downloaded from the Google Fonts web site.

But they work on my CC desktop apps... just not on my iPhone.

When you said "however, these fonts don't show up in Adobe programs" it gave me the impression the fonts weren't working in Adobe's desktop apps.
Which fonts are you using? Were they added via the Adobe Fonts service? I don't have an iPhone (I have a Samsung Galaxy phone) but in my iPad Pro I can see any Adobe Fonts that were added within Adobe's applications. I have to install those fonts using the CC app in the iPad in order for other apps to see them.
Installing fonts in an iOS device is a pain in the neck. Fonts can't be installed in an iPhone or iPad individually like they can in a desktop PC or Mac. The fonts have to be installed as a kind of app, or they have to be installed within a third party app. Not all of these apps work like they should, which explains the fonts not wanting to show themselves in an Adobe app on an iPhone.

Sorry about that. I thought I was being clear 🙂 But I use them on my mac all the time but they are nowhere to be seen on my iPhone, even though I have installed an app for that...
