We want to make sure we are onside with licensing for Adobe fonts on our website. How is this handled with our Creative Cloud license? Or do we have to purchase fonts separately for use on our website? And how can Adobe know that we are properly licensed with these fonts? Thanks

When you set up to use Adobe web fonts, you must prepare the HTML so it knows which Adobe account was used. If you have a serious business or institution, I suggest you buy the fonts anyway (with the special "web font" license). Otherwise a small billing error, or change of staff, you leave you without the CC subscription used to set up the fonts, damaging your corporate image. Use Adobe fonts to quickly prototype, or maybe to set up a time-limited offer.

You can't anyway sell the web-fonts as a service to your site building business. The customer needs its own subscription to Adobe fonts.

See here for answers on font licensing: Font licensing, especially the Web font section .

Adobe knows because a subscription is required. Fonts are still hosted at an Adobe site and are served on demand to your visitors.
