Hello!
I have a question about tracking web fonts.
One of our customers has privacy concerns when tracking web fonts.
What data is transmitted to Adobe when a website is accessed?
Does Adobe have the German DSGVO in mind?
Thank you very much for your answer & many greetings,
Robert

Hello,
Webfonts cannot currently be used on websites in Germany without running the risk of being warned off.
By integrating Adobe fonts via Typekit, user data is exchanged with servers in the USA without consent, which is not compliant with DSGVO. This is why there are currently massive costly warnings against website operators in Germany.
Does Adobe have a solution that is being worked on?
Greetings
Timo

Basically, it's European privacy rights. The only way to be sure to play after the rules is to host the fonts locally on your server, which is not possible with Adobe fonts.
You either need to buy the fonts or use Google fonts that can be downloaded and hosted locally.
