As Instructor why cant I "Mark Attended"

I am working on importing historical classroom data into Prime.

It is a little clumsy to do but It can be done.

Create course with classroom module

Use any future date and time

Log in as Instructor and change Date and Time to correct historical date and time

But as an instructor I am unable to mark attended

WHY?!

If the learners are enrolled, you should be able to go into the learners section on a meeting and check the box next to their name and choose attended from the Actions drop down.

Since the last update last Saturday things have changed in Prime.

We have been creating historical data for classroom training. Up until the latest update you were able to back date classroom training to as early as January 1, 2015.

Now for some dumb reason Adobe has chosen to remove that option. You can only use dates going forward.

Why they would change this I do not know. Some of my clients do on the spot training based upon weather, equipment breakdown etc. They may not enter the training records right away and now they can not put those courses into Prime without using the cumbersome integration process.

I have tried to reach out to Prime to see if this feature can be reinstated.

Can we jump on a call? I just went into a historical record and changed the date. I then went to the learner and marked attendance. I'm wondering if you had a setting changed somewhere in the system that might be causing this.

The only reason we can see for why you would be prevented from adjusting the date is if it is part of a sequenced course where you are trying to set the date to before the course before it in the sequence.

I was in the middle of a project creating classroom courses based upon our historical data. Up until the last update to Prime I was able to back date courses to 2015. That is no longer available to me.

During course creation the date fields for classroom training will no longer accept a date any earlier than the current date.

I may be available this afternoon, after 3:00 pm EDT.

Did you make the change as an instructor?

If so check the learner transcript. My testing showed that the dates did

not change on the learner transcript report
