Captivate Prime Video artifacts when part of SCORM package

New Here ,
Oct 03, 2018 Oct 03, 2018

I have uploaded several SCORM packages to Prime which contain videos on slides.  The videos are MP4's and play perfectly fine outside of Prime.  After uploading to Prime the videos have major black square artifacts throughout.  I am publishing these from Captivate 2017 and I have tried disabling compression in the publish settings but that has no effect.  See below

Hi Mike,

Thank you for raising this issue.

Sometimes the video encoding gets corrupted. You need to encode the video again with Media Encoder.

Steps:

     1. Open the video in Media Encoder

     2. Click on the Preset option and choose Youtube 480 P SD as this is the preferred settings.

     3. Choose the output folder

     4. Click Green Play button

Replace the video in Captivate and publish it again.

Regards,

Pranav Jain
