The fact that you still cannot delete a module shows how horrible this product is. Stop saying it's 'on the roadmap' and add it to the product already!
How do you allow users to create items without allowing them to delete items? Especially when you don't warn users of the inability to delete those items.
Deleting Modules should not be a 'feature', but rather a fundamental part of the product itself! The fact that Adobe doesn't see this, shows just how short-sighted the product team is.
Something I have come to realize is all too common for Adobe products, sadly. Par for the course yet again!
Hi Todd Plunk (and others),
Sorry for this frustration. Please file your feature request here.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Todd,
Totally agree that this is something which is required in the product. Also, this is in our priority list.
However, please note that the modules which the author create are not exposed to Learners unless they are added in a published course.
Only the users with Author role in your account can get the access to the public modules. Private modules are accessible only to their respective authors as well. Also, admin can retire and delete the published course.
Hence, the content is totally safe but we agree with your views here and take it as a valuable feed back.
Thanks,
Himanshu

There is no feature request option for Captivate Prime, only Captivate that I can see.
I am equally frustrated, and have spend at least an hour or more trying to work out how to delete all the test modules I created when learning the product.
I agree that this should NOT be a feature request (that doesn't exist) but a fundamental function of the product.

Is there any movement on this? We would also like a way to delete modules.

I agree- this is extremely frustrating. Especially when the feedback link doesn't work.
The publishing link between Captivate and Prime does not always work in updating modules you've already uploaded. Another reason why this should be essential.
I also have a module that is in a constant state of uploading (another captivate upload issue) that I can't delete.

How this has STILL not been implemented even with the release of Captivate 2017 is insane. I am in the same boat where i have 2 modules that have been "Processing" for weeks. Skylar is also correct the publishing link does not work always. Is this really that hard for adobe to add in?

I changed the name of any module that I wanted to "delete." I made it Z1, all of them. Now when I see Z1 I know that it is a module that I do not want to use. If I ever change my mind...it is there and the tags are visible. Not sure if this would help. At the least, if they add a delete module button I can then easily search for all Z1 files and BOOM, they'll be gone! (:

Modules in a Course can be deleted. You need to view the Course as an Author. Then select the Edit button at the top right of the page and an X will appear to the right of the Module. Clicking on that X will delete the Module from the Course.

I’m not having trouble deleting a module from a Course…I wanted to delete a module from my library. Since this can’t be done, I thought it best to give them a garbage name which let me know that they were not usable modules. Mainly occurring during the learning process.
Can Modules be deleted from the library?

At this time, No.
You share a frustration with many users on this issue.
For my deprecated modules, in addition to renaming, I have also used a single tag called 'retired' to help filter.
Hopefully, a solution comes soon.

Ah sorry, I misunderstood that you were talking about Content in the Content Library rather than a Module in a Course.
At this time the Content Library has no way to remove old or unwanted content (clearly needed). Keep making noise about it as it will add to the urgency of this much needed feature.

To ADOBE - Please add this. After trialing the system for 1 month an adding content that needs to go away, now that we are in our Enterprise deployment, this is a much needed feature. At LEAST allow us to filter if you won't let us delete. One of the two is essential for managing content.
Please use Docebo for an example of how they allow content deletion. If these features are not added by the end of our current term, we will be changing LMS providers.

Hi Todd,
You can now retire a module from the catalog. Please click on the module in the course library, then click on actions followed by retire.
And the module will no longer be visible in the published section of the course catalog.
