L1 Feedback not showing up for Learners

Explorer ,
Feb 14, 2023 Feb 14, 2023

Happy Tuesday!

A few authors and admins on my team have noticed that there is no way for a learner to return and provide L1 feedback on the course after closing the initial pop-up. Is this the intended practice?

We have experienced an issue in which a learner might close the pop-up for feedback and attempt to return later via the email notification. However, that simply takes them to the course and there is no option to provide feedback.

We are also seeing issues in which the learner received notification to provide feedback, but the course or learning program does not give the the option to or the pop-up fails to appear.

We confirmed that everything is setup properly with L1 enabled, email templates enabled, and set to remind on course completion. The only consistant way to capture L1 feedback so far has been to prompt at completion with no email notification and hope they complete it and not close it.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Hi @loganm87922310 , Did you enable the L1 Feedback Email template at either the course level or the learning path level? Also, the Feedback request appears in the learner's notification bell. There would be a link for them to activate the feedback survey again in the bell.

Do let me know how it goes for you.

Yes, actually it was enabled at the course level and path level. Sadly, we have never seen the notification bell ever show request for feedback. Did not know that was a even a thing. Will need to look and see if there is a setting that disabled that notification from appearing.

Oh no! I'm sorry that's happening to you all.

You can always test a quick course yourself to see if the email is triggering, as well as the notification. You got this!!!
