Posting Course Updates

New Here ,
Jun 01, 2022 Jun 01, 2022

Suppose we modify the modules of an old course and republish it. Will the status of the learners who have already completed the course show as incomplete now? How do we ensure that the learners who have completed the previous version of the course complete the latest version? Is there a best practice to follow?

Hi Madhu24693884tzia,

For any course we can update a module in a course at any point of time, there will be no change in the status of already completed learner. There is a thumb rule in the Captivate Prime LMS as once the course is completed the user, the status will not get reverted.

However, there will be an Email that would get triggered by the LMS titled "Course Re-publish" provided the template will be enabled in the Admin.

Learner can choose to revisit the course if he wants to see the new module for the course.

I hope this will help.

Regards,

Pranav Jain
