Adobe media encoder won't open.

i'm trying to upload a project from Adobe After Effects CC 2019 to Adobe Media Encoder 2019. when I click on the application, the splash screen comes up and begins loading, but after a few seconds the splash screen disappears and the actual application never comes up. i then tried to go into After Effects and move the project to Media Encoder from there (Add to Adobe Media Encoder queue), but it still refuses to open. how do i fix this?

Hi there,

That's not ideal. Dynamic link should work if the version of the applications is in sync. Could you share more info to help us troubleshoot the issue?

• Does it happen with every project? 
• Are you able to export your project directly from AE?
• Do you have Premiere Pro to test the dynamic link between PR and AME?
