I've seen some old posts about this but nothing current.
I'm interested in speeding up our rendering with AME by possibly using AWS. All of our current rendering machines are on really old hardware. I'd rather spend the money in AWS than on hardware that will need to be replaced again soon to keep up.
We have 10Gb direct connectivity into AWS already so getting our projects files up there would be pretty easy. I'm just not sure if AME would work in AWS, what instance size would be best and what OS would be best to run it on.
