Working on a PC with Windows 10. Due to a problem with using AME in my old CS6 install (it can't connect to Dynamic Link server when trying to load or process PPro CS6 projects) I decided to try Premiere Pro CC on my faster 96GB Threadripper system. If it works, it might be worth a monthly subscription fee.
Now, if I try to load any of my PPro CS6 projects, both PPro CC and AME CC crash. These projects load fine into PPro CS6. This does not pump me full of confidence in spending money every month on a CC subscription.
What are my options for troubleshooting this? My only option right now is to render each individual project in a single install of PPro CS6, which will take forever and I'll have to ride shotgun on it to see when one job finishes so I can start up the next.
