I usually export direct from Premiere Pro but recently had to export multiple files to Media Encoder. Next time I tried to open the .prproj files in Premiere Pro, THEY HAD MOVED AND I HAD TO SEARCH FOR IT! AND THEN I HAD TO RE-LINK ALL MY SOURCE FILES! [sorry for all caps but I meant to yell...]
Are you kidding me with this? Bad enough the Photoshop interface has become so clunky to use, now Premiere Pro? What are they doing at Adobe...if it isn't broke, break it? Honestly, I've been an Adobe fan since PageMaker and Photoshop 1...I can't imagine why these fabulous, previously intuitive programs are being destroyed.
Please help me to figure out what happened and how I can return to an easier workflow. I share folders with clients and I had to explain on a screen share call why I was having trouble finding files.
Sorry for the rant, thanks in advance—running macOS Monterey, CC subscription up-to-date.

Hi,
sorry to hear you are facing problems. Unfortunately I wasn't able so far to repro your issue. Do you have a solid repro case where the .pproj file is moved after rendering via AME? From where to where are the files moved? You mention you are sharing folders. Are those .ppproj files in the shared folders? Could it be you where using Watchfolders, where the Source is being moved to another folder (has a date timestamp as a name)?
