When I turn Glow effect on in After Effects I get

Accelerated Renderer Error

Unable to produce frame.

-

If I turn glow off it renders.

Anyone know why? [Mac Pro 6 core]

The same project file I worked on 2 months ago worked fine through Encoder.

I'm also getting weird bugs where older project files now takes 30mins-1 hour to render 10 second videos where as 2 months ago they took less than 30secs. (through Encoder)

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for contacting us. I appreciate that you've worked towards finding the reason for making the export crash.

  • Which version of After Effects and AME are you using?
  • Have you updated the GPU drivers to the latest version?

Since the issue is not only with the export error but also with the performance, it will be interesting to know:

  • What kind of media and effects are you working with?
  • Could you share details about your system(OS version, GPU, CPU, etc)?
  • Do you get the same kind of performance with After Effects?

Thanks,

Shivangi
