After Effects and Premiere Pro will not send directly to media encoder, media encoder wont even open anymore, just crashes and takes the whole PC out with it, been like this for 3-4 days now...
running a 32gb ram, AMD 6 processer with Nvidea GTX50 8gb graphics card
why are all of adobes apps so slow, buggy and generally terrible.
I've reinstalled all of the apps, full pc clean and reboot then re-install making sure all are the same version and adobe media encoder still won't open, or opens and then spends ages connecting to 'dynamic link server' before crashing or failing the project
have tried exporting video through after effects internal exporter but it reckons 6hrs for a 7 minute long video with audio? its a still picture too.
ADOBE Help us out! would have cancelled subscription already if i wasnt signed up for a year as for the past couple of months it has been nothing but hassle and really stomps all over your "creative dreams" :(:(:(

Hi there,
We're sorry for the trouble. Could you test the issue after disabling hardware encoding under Preferences > Media ?
Let us know the outcome.
Regards,
Shivangi

Hi, I did this and still no difference and it took me hours just to get it to open (uninstalling and re-installing about 6 times) I did manage to get media encoder to export my AE file by changing the version to 18.4.1 on AE and Premiere pro saving my work, then upgrading it to 22.0 (AE and premiere pro) and then it would let me export that saved file made in version (18.4.1) but would not let me open any other files in Media Encoder from different versions. Media encoder has been on the latest version as it's the only one that will load (most of the time) but still will not connect to the dynamic link.
and this was before I did the suggestion above too,
is there any other ways to export AE files?
