Hey,

can someone tell me which hardwre encoder I can but to speed up the media encoder?

It does not use the GPU, so I was wondering if there is some hardware that the app is

responding to.

nice to hear from someone even if there is no answere to the question.

And by the way:

If not, can we open the app for a feature?

It would get us all some more sleep and peace for our families. 😉

thanxs

Peter

Not all effects use GPU acceleration.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives, (how many, what kind, what is on each, and how full)?

Hey,

its a imac 27 "

4 Ghz

4 GB Vram

SSD 3 TB

1 Gbit Ethernet

do I understand this correctly:

the GPU only renders certain effects that need the GPU.

The rest , motionblur , cameras, video, motion from a to b is simply rendered by the

CPU.

When you have a technology at your fingertips that speeds up the process and you

don´t use it, is this logical?

For me the basics are:

speed and stability.

The rest is secondary.

And as far as I can tell: I had so many crashes in 2019, that I can´t recall them.

And speed. ?

And now as we don´t have the legacy codecs anymore, why can´t media encoder use a gpu

architecture? And render fast fast.

I don´t know .. maybe I am to demanding.

kind regards

Peter
