How can I get Apple Pro Res into 2017 Media Encoder with Old Mac?

I have Media Encoder CC 2017 ( and operating on Premiere 2017.0.2.

I've been working on a project for almost 5 years and didn't want to get updates in the middle of it - hence the old versions.

I'm soon wanting to export an Apple Pro Res file but not sure how to find a downloadable version to my Mac desktop since it too is a bit old (10.11.6 OS X El Capitan).  This old version of Encoder does not offer Pro Res when exporting, not even under Quick Time.  Maybe this is an easy solution for some but I'm not sure where to go. Anybody have a solution?
