Hello.

I'm a bit stuck and I would appreciate some guidance.

I got the following requirements:

Format: MXF OP1a

Codec: XDCAM HD @ 35 MB 59.94i

Resolution: 1920X1080

Aspect ratio: 16:9

The closest I've found is the XDCAMHD 35 NTSC 60i, but that forces a 1440x1080 resolution. The source is 1920x1080.

I've tried making a new preset and that doesn't seem to work.

Hi ArturoAce,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay in response. I understand your point. Getting a desired set of values for export is also dependent on the properties of the source file.

          Please share the following information

      • Media properties from the project bin.
      • Sequence Settings.

Thanks,

Shivangi

Hello Shivangi,

I wouldn't be able to share that information because the files have already been delivered and I don't have a copy anymore.

Turned out that XDCAM HD 35 —at least in Media Encoder— only works with an anamorphic pixel aspect ratio, therefore a 1920x1080 16:9 video is impossible. So I encoded the files to 1440x1080 to preserve the 16:9.

I got your point. I may not be able to troubleshoot further without knowing the details for the source file unless you have any other file to test.

Let me know. I'll be happy to help.
