Hi everyone
So I made a film and basically I now want to burn that film onto a DVD. The film is in 1080p and my question is what settings do I need to use in the Media Encoder so that, once burned on the DVD, the film will play from any DVD player?
Thanks in advance!

To cover a complex topic probably too quickly, you need to encode, author, build and then format a DVD Video title.
AME will only get to you the first part (encoding to MPEG2 for DVD).
Adobe Encore CS6 can get you the rest of the way, but it is offiically discontinued.
There are still options for creating play only DVDs from movie files. Roxio Toast can do this on Mac. The same company makes something like Easy DVD Creator for Windows (not 100% sure that I have the name correct.). If on Windows, I believe Windows supports turning a movie file into a DVD with the Media Player app.
No, a burned DVD will not play in any DVD player. You'd want to make sure that the DVD player supports "DVD Multi".
