Just to get the specific details out of the way my after effects version is 22.0 and my media encoder version is 22.0. and I am on a M1 mac mini, Mac OS Monterey, version 12.0.1
The issue is that when I press export to media encoder, it does not send the file to media encoder but when I restart my computer it suddenly works for two exports and then it stops sending to media encoder.
Thanks,
Ben.
It got fixed on the latest update!

I have the same issue on my Macbook Air on M1 when I installed Monterey and the latest AE and Media Encoder. However, it works only for 1 export for me 😞
Hope that it will be fixed asap!

I'm having similar issues on an Intel Macbook Pro 16, Big Sur 11.6, After Effects 22.0, Media Encoder 22.0. Sometimes I get a few renders after a reboot, sometimes none. When it fails, ME either never gets the project to render, or it gets stuck saying "Connecting to project" or "Connecting to dynamic link server", or it does nothing at all. I'm also having similar issues with Premiere Pro 22.0.
I've reverted to the previous versions of these three apps and things seem to be OK so I can actually get work done. I will wait to upgrade when Adobe gets their **** together.

One simple, but important thing to do here is to restart you computer after the update. A problem a lot of people experienced was that the bug fix didn't solve the problem, but really the issue was that a process was hanging in the backround that needed to be shut down first. Restarting your computer kills all the processes, and hopefully, the fix should work after.
